Application Method
*Applications will be made online on our University's website between the application dates, and the required documents will be scanned and uploaded to the system by the students.
Compulsory Foreign Language (Eng-German) Preparatory Program Proficiency Exam
Candidates who apply to Departments and Programs that provide 100% or 30% education in foreign languages, whose foreign language preparatory education is not deemed sufficient, or who do not have a foreign language proficiency certificate from the foreign language exams held by ÖSYM or international foreign language exams whose equivalence is accepted by ÖSYM, will participate.

Candidates apply to departments/programs that provide education in foreign languages, except the Faculty of Medicine: 20 August 2024
Candidates applying to the Faculty of Medicine English Medicine Program: July 30, 2024
Exams will be held face to face at the School of Foreign Languages.

B-ACCEPTANCE CONDITIONS
1- Horizontal transfers are made in accordance with the provisions of the "Regulation on the Principles of Transfer Between Associate and Undergraduate Programs in Higher Education Institutions, Double Major, Minor and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer" and the "Faculty of Medicine Lateral Transfer Guide".
2- Candidates for horizontal transfer from Formal Higher Education Institutions;
They must have succeeded in taking all the courses they need to take at the higher education institution they are studying at and they must not have any semester/year losses (except registration freezing).
For departments/programs other than the Faculty of Medicine, the overall grade point average must be at least 3.00 in undergraduate programs and at least 2.75 in associate degree programs, according to the 4-point grading system.
The overall grade point average for the Faculty of Medicine must be at least 3.60 according to the 4-point grading system. At least 80% of the courses in the curriculum of the faculty you are studying in must coincide with the education program of the Faculty of Medicine of our University.
Acceptance of students through horizontal transfer is made according to the horizontal transfer evaluation score (DP). If the evaluation scores are equal, priority is given to the candidate with the higher central placement score in the year in which the candidates registered for the relevant program.
3- Candidates for horizontal transfer from open and distance education programs;
They must have succeeded in all the courses they have to take at the higher education institution where they are studying.
Their overall grade point average in the education period before the class or semester in which they will transfer must be at least 3.20 in the 4-point grading system.
After the candidates who apply for horizontal transfer from regular and evening education programs are placed, the candidates who apply from open and distance education programs are placed in the vacant quotas.
4- In calculating the horizontal transfer evaluation score (DP); X=Central placement score in the year the student was enrolled in the program,
Y=Base score of the relevant program in the year the candidate registered (excluding school valedictorian and additional placements),
The candidate's overall grade point average according to the Z = 4 grading system,
V = TYT score in the year the student was enrolled in the program he/she was placed in,
T=Minimum TYT score required to apply to the relevant program of our University in the year the candidate is registered,
In the grade conversion of students who do not have a 4-point GPA according to the 4-point grading system in their transcript, the criteria determined by the Higher Education Executive Board
